Bedside SWAN — Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026. Applies to the Bedside SWAN iOS app and the web version at bedside-swan.web.app.

The short version

Bedside SWAN does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no patient identifier fields. The numbers you type stay on your device and are cleared when you clear them.

What the app stores on your device

Nothing else is written to storage. Measurements you enter are held in memory only while the app is open.

In-app purchase

The Pro unlock is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; the app never sees your payment details. To confirm that a purchase is valid and to restore it on a new device, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier for your installation and the App Store purchase receipt. It does not receive your name, email address, Apple ID, or anything you enter in the app. RevenueCat's own policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Reports you export

Copy and Share put the report text into the clipboard or the iOS share sheet at your request. Where it goes from there is under your control. The report contains no identifier fields by design.

Children

Bedside SWAN is intended for clinicians and clinical trainees and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
